To make sure better authentication is used to access electronic reserves, e-reserve’s contents will be moved to BlackBoard starting in mid-June. Library staff will continue to support faculty with the digitization of documents. Faculty will be responsible for loading the digitized documents to their BlackBoard courses. From: Susan Whyte

Loading e-content to your BlackBoard courses:
  • Log in to your BBLearn course with your CatNet user name and password (https://bblearn.linfield.edu).
  • Click on the Content link in the left menu.
  • Click or mouse over the Build Content link.
  • From the Create column, choose File.
  • Use the Browse My Computer button to select your PDF on your computer.
  • Fill in the other options for the file (name, permissions, etc.) as desired. NOTE: We recommend you select "Yes" for the Open in New Window option.
  • Click the submit button.

Other important information:
If you have a digitization request email library-circulation@linfield.edu. Lige Armstrong (larmston@linfield.edu) can also assist with uploading document to Blackboard.
The process for regular reserves has not changed. Please continue to use the reserve form for physical items.
